Hi, Dan here!

Back in 2009, I started my first job as an actuary - working in a brand new life insurer. My role was 100% Excel based, and I was clueless! I felt like an EXCEL ZERO.

Over the course of four years, I began to appreciate the capabilities of using Excel as a business tool. I began to feel like an EXCEL HERO. 

I started to realise that there are so many people out there who are:

• struggling with Excel;
• suffering in silence because they don't know what they don't know;
• using less than 5% of Excel's capabilities;
• looking to become more confident and efficient in their work.

I qualified as an Actuary in September 2013, and the very next day I resigned from my job and founded Excel Academy.

My vision was, and still is, to help as many people as possible to become more confident, productive and successful in their lives and businesses.

We achieve this through our fun and interactive "Gamified Blended" workshop experiences.

So far, we've impacted over 15,000 people.
