Why Excel Academy?
Hi there, I'm Dan. Thanks for stopping by.
I'd like to give you some insight into why I founded Excel Academy, why we believe so strongly in what we do and the value that we add, and exactly how we deliver.
I started my actuarial career in a specialist life insurer. My role was 100% Excel based - and I was clueless. I felt like an EXCEL ZERO.
Over the course of four years, I began to appreciate the real-life applications, capabilities and risks of using Excel as a business tool. I began to feel like an EXCEL HERO.
I started to realise that there are so many people out there struggling with Excel. People suffering in silence, and using less than 5% of Excel's capabilities. People looking to become more confident and efficient in their work.
When I qualified as an Actuary in September 2013, I resigned from my job and founded Excel Academy.
My vision was, and still is, to help as many people as possible to become more confident, efficient and successful.
We achieve this through our fun and enjoyable Excel workshop experiences. We love the idea of creating more and more EXCEL HEROES!
